Affiliate disclosure
LaptopMastery.com is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
LaptopMastery.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in our page code, and every buying guide carries a disclosure at the top of the page.
How we choose products
- Independence: no manufacturer or retailer can pay to be included in, or to change their position in, any of our guides. Commission rates have no influence on which products we recommend.
- Research: recommendations are based on specifications, published lab testing from established reviewers, long-term owner feedback, and our own experience. We don’t claim hands-on testing we haven’t done.
- Specific listings: we link to the specific configuration we’re recommending wherever possible, and avoid third-party “upgraded” listings whose warranties may be compromised.
- Freshness: we review guides regularly and remove products that are discontinued, out of stock or superseded.
- Downsides included: every recommendation lists its weaknesses, because no laptop is perfect for everyone.
Prices
We don’t list exact retailer prices because they change frequently. Always check the current price and configuration on the retailer’s site before buying. Any manufacturer list prices we mention were accurate at the time of writing.
